Save time

Skip the grocery run, the meal prep, the cooking and the pile of dishes. Our families get hours of their week back, every week.

🥗

Eat better

A fresh, balanced home-style meal every weekday instead of takeout or whatever's left in the fridge at 6 PM.

🍲

Enjoy variety

A rotating weekly menu of seasonal sabzis, dals and mains, so dinner never gets boring and you never have to plan it.

🧡

Feel looked after

Your food is made with the same care we'd serve at our own table, by a mom who knows your spice level and your name.

Several of our customers tell us they've cut their grocery and takeout spending by as much as 40 to 50% since joining. But the change most of them mention first is simpler: no more wondering what's for dinner.

Tiffin PlansDelivery included on every plan

Every tiffin is cooked fresh the same day: a seasonal sabzi, dal, rice and rotis, with a non-veg main on non-veg plans. Tell us your roti count, spice level and any dietary needs when you order.

What Our Customers SayLoved across Metro Vancouver & the Fraser Valley

★★★★★

The compliment we hear most often from customers: "the best tiffin service we've tried." We'd rather you hear it from them than from us, so ask a neighbour who eats with us. Or try a week and taste it yourself.

Frequently Asked QuestionsEverything you need to know before ordering

Do you deliver right to my door?

It depends on your building. If you're in a townhouse or on the ground level, we bring your tiffin right to your door.

If you're in an apartment building where the driver has to take stairs or an elevator up to your unit, we leave your food at the mailroom or lobby. Here's why: going up and down for each unit (parking, buzzer codes, the elevator) adds several minutes per stop. Across many deliveries in one building, that delay stacks up and the last customer could be waiting well over an hour for food that should arrive fresh. Dropping at the lobby keeps every delivery on time and your meal warm.

If you have a specific situation, just let us know and we'll do our best to work with you.

Which days do you deliver?

We deliver Monday to Friday. Weekends are our kitchen's rest days.

What time do you deliver? Do you do evening deliveries?

Most of our deliveries go out between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Evening delivery depends on your location. We can't promise it everywhere, but if you need an evening drop-off, just ask and we'll see if we can accommodate you.

Is your food very spicy or oily?

Our food is made by a mom, with a mother's touch, so it's mildly spiced by default. If you like more heat, just tell us and we'll spice it up for you.

On oil: we use only good ingredients and never more oil than is needed to cook a dish in a healthy way. Because we make real curries, vegetables naturally release oil and water as they cook, so you might sometimes see a thin layer of oil on top. That's the food doing its natural thing. It's safe and healthy to eat, not a sign of extra oil.

Personal preferences matter to us. Try the food, give us your honest feedback, and we'll do our best to adjust to what you like.

Do you make vegan food?

We try to accommodate vegan recipes where we can. Please get in touch before ordering and we'll let you know what's possible.

I have food allergies. Can you accommodate me?

Please tell us about any allergies and we'll try our best. To be upfront: our food is designed for people without severe allergies, and our home kitchen handles many different ingredients at the same time, so cross-contact is possible.

If you have a severe allergy, let us know first. We'll be honest with you about whether we can safely accommodate it, rather than risk your health.

Our StoryFood made by a mother's hands

I spent most of my life as a teacher, but the kitchen is where I've always felt most myself. What began as cooking for my own family (and a small YouTube channel) slowly became Mumta Foods, because people kept asking for the comfort of a real, home-cooked meal.

Everything I make is what I'd put on my own table: fresh ingredients, no shortcuts, cooked the same day with care. The name Mumta comes from that feeling: the soft, steady comfort of food made by a mother's hands.
